I recently replaced my CMY ink cartridges using HP cartridges and now I get the error message that there is a problem with my print head Error code 0xc19a0023. I had this same problem last year and after leaving it completely unplugged for a week it started working again. I tried this again, but it still isn't working. Anyone have any solution to this problem? The printer is only about 2 years old and would hate to have to buy a new one.

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

HP printer error Codes 0xc19a0023 the problem occurs when your printer is unstable and important files are not responding and start missing. This problem when your printer is not being updated regularly.
I have a few troubleshooting steps we could try to fix the issue:

Solution1: resetting the printer

  • Press the Power button to turn on the product.
  • With the product turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the product.
  • Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  • Wait at least 15 seconds.
  • Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
  • Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the product.
  • If the product does not turn on by itself, press the Power button to turn it on.

Solution 2:

  • Disconnected the USB cable if it is plugged into a computer.
  • Remove the cartridges from the printer as well.
  • With the power still on, unplug the power cord from the back of the printer, as well as the wall, then wait about 60 seconds.
  • Plug it back into the wall first, then the printer, allowing it to boot up.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
