I have received an error code 11 on my Laserjet M234sdwe. I completed a print job, and suddenly the error code message showed up. I tried to update new drivers with success. Powered the printer off a few times and turned back on.
Tried to do test print and no print out. Message on Diagnose and fix states that Print Queue issue is not fixed.

@JM084, Welcome to HP Support Community,
Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue
Error Code 11 on HP printers typically indicates an issue with the toner cartridge or its connection.
- Check Cartridge Compatibility: Ensure that the cartridge is compatible with your HP LaserJet. Sometimes, incompatible cartridges can cause errors.
- Inspect the Cartridge: Examine the cartridges for any visible damage or defects. Check for any protective tape or seals that might still be on the cartridge.
- Clean the Contacts: Turn off the printer and unplug it. Open the toner cartridge area and gently clean the contact points on both the cartridge and inside the printer with a soft, dry cloth. Be careful not to touch any sensitive components.
- Reinstall the Cartridge: After cleaning, reinsert the cartridge carefully, ensuring it is seated properly. Sometimes a cartridge that is not fully seated can cause errors.
- Perform a Hard Reset: With the printer unplugged, press and hold the power button for 30 seconds. Then, plug the printer back in and power it on.
- Check for Firmware Issues: (Update the firmware on an HP printer | HP® Support)
Go to the HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads page. Enter your printer model number and search for the latest firmware update. Follow the instructions to download and install the firmware update. - Try a Different Cartridge: If possible, test with a new cartridge to see if the issue persists. This can help determine if the problem is with the cartridge itself or the printer.
I hope these steps help resolve the issue

I completed the recommendations including trying a new cartridge. I installed the new cartridge. The printer reset with no error codes. I tried a test print job. It printed 2 pages , stopped and gave me same error code Er11 again.
So I determined it was a printer problem. Since it was out of warranty, I bought a new HP printer.
Hopefully I don't have more future problems as the defective printer was less than 2 yrs old.

The firmware blocks original HP toner cartridges from working. I had to buy a new printer. I'd like a refund check for the HP printer I was only able to print 500 pages before you automatically installed firmware that bricked my printer.
