HP 8025e
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello - My client started his printer this morning only to find a blue screen on his LED printer window that shows error code B8DC2810. The arrow, questionmark and home icons are blinking. I asked my client to reboot his printer (plug/unplug) and, if that doesn't solve the issue, to press the button for 6 seconds allowing the printer to reboot.

Any suggestions beyond my suggestions to my client would be appreciated.

Thank you in advance for your ideas/knowledge.

Hi @supercell,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

The error code B8DC2810 on your HP 8025e printer indicates a problem with the ink system. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try.

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source. Wait for 60 seconds and then plug it back in and turn it on.
  • Make sure that the ink cartridges are correctly installed and that they are not low on ink.
  • Remove the ink cartridges and check for any damage or leaks. If you find any, replace the affected cartridge(s).
  • Clean the ink cartridges and printhead. You can do this by using the automated cleaning utility in your printer software or by manually cleaning them with a soft, lint-free cloth and some distilled water.
  • If the above steps do not resolve the issue, try resetting the printer to its factory settings. This can be done by accessing the "Reset to Factory Settings" option in the printer menu.

If the error code persists even after trying the above steps, it may indicate a more serious hardware issue with the printer.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
