I have a HP OfficeJet PRO 6978 - out of warranty, but not even 2 years old. My son went to print last night and there is no power to the printer. Unplugged and plugged back in to outlet and from back of printer - but screen only comes on for a second. Tried other outlets, same thing. Then, we received a blue screen on the printer with code C9C70000. Any advice?

I was able to fix. Unplug it for 15min and leave the printer cartridge exposed. Mine were stuck in the right position, but I opened the panel and left them exposed. Then plug it back in with the cardtridges exposed. None of HPs suggestions worked for me. But this worked.
