I have error code E6. I have tried hard to get a solution but cannot find one. I have checked for paper jams, foreign objects, I have been through the reset procedure several times, all to no avail. I would like some advice please on how to resolve this issue. I have tried contacting HP directly but cannot seem to get any feedback from HP. My printer is still under warranty.

Hi @DenisD1,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
The E6 error code on the HP ENVY 6032e All-In-One Printer typically indicates a problem with the printhead or a carriage jam. Here are some steps you can take to try and resolve the issue.
Check for Paper Jams or Foreign Objects
- Turn off the printer and disconnect the power cord.
- Open the front cover and look for any paper jams or foreign objects. Remove any that you find.
- Check the paper path from the input tray to the output tray for any obstructions.
Reset the Printer
- Turn off the printer and unplug the power cord from the printer and the wall outlet.
- Wait for 60 seconds.
- Plug the power cord back in and turn on the printer.
Check the Printhead
- Open the front cover of the printer to access the ink cartridges.
- Remove the ink cartridges and set them aside.
- Check the printhead area for any obstructions or ink build-up. Clean the area if necessary.
Reinstall Ink Cartridges
- Reinsert the ink cartridges into their respective slots.
- Close the front cover and ensure it is properly latched.
Update Printer Firmware
- Ensure your printer is connected to a stable internet connection.
- Go to the HP support website and download the latest firmware for your printer model.
- Follow the instructions to update the firmware.
Perform a Hard Reset
- Turn off the printer and unplug the power cord.
- Press and hold the power button for at least 15 seconds.
- Reconnect the power cord and turn the printer back on.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
