I keep getting error code: EBS00P0004 after trying to set up my printer.

1. Check Internet Connection

Ensure your printer and the device you are using to set it up are connected to a stable internet connection.

2. Restart Printer and Device

  • Turn off your printer and unplug it from the power source.
  • Restart the device you are using for setup (e.g., computer or smartphone).
  • Plug the printer back in and turn it on.

3. Update Printer Firmware Update the firmware on an HP printer

Make sure your printer’s firmware is up to date:

  • Download the latest firmware from the HP support website.
  • Follow the instructions to install the firmware update on your printer.

4. HP Smart App Setup

Use the HP Smart app for setup:

  • Download and install the HP Smart app on your device from the HP website or your device's app store.
