Microsoft Windows 11

Printer started showing OXB83811BO and the error message won't go with multiple restarts, also followed instructions provided on resolutions threads shared with other users facing similar issues. But nothing works.

 

The printer being on that error state for long, doesn't even start now. Please help.

I understand you are getting the error code OXB83811BO on the HP OfficeJet 4650 All-In-One Printer is typically indicative of a hardware issue or a firmware glitch. Given that you've already tried multiple restarts and followed various troubleshooting steps without success, 

 

here are some additional steps you can take to try to resolve the issue:

Step-by-Step Troubleshooting

Power Cycle the Printer

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  • Wait for at least 60 seconds.
  • Plug the printer back in and turn it on.

Reset the Printer

  • While the printer is on, disconnect the power cord from the printer.
  • Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  • Wait for 60 seconds.
  • Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
  • Reconnect the power cord to the printer and turn it on.

Check for Paper Jams

  • Open all access doors and remove any paper jams.
  • Make sure there is no torn paper or other debris inside the printer.

Reinstall Ink Cartridges

  • Turn on the printer and open the ink cartridge access door.
  • Remove the ink cartridges and inspect them for any damage or ink leakage.
  • Reinstall the cartridges properly and close the access door.

Update Printer Firmware

  • Go to the HP support website and check for the latest firmware updates for your printer model.
  • Download and install any available updates according to the provided instructions. Update the firmware on an HP printer

Use the HP Print and Scan Doctor

  • Download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor, a free tool from HP that can help diagnose and resolve printing and scanning issues.

Hello @Gaya1239,

 

Please let me know my options if the printer wont even trun on? All other solution are beneficial provided printer boots. In this case, the printer wont turn on even when I Power cycle.
