Please I need help with the factory reset of hp Laser Jet mfp m577dn...

You need to go into the preboot menu and perform a cold reset. Turn on the power and watch the display. The HP logo will appear. As soon as you see the number count start at the bottom of the screen, touch the logo. This will take you to the preboot menu. Navigate to administrator>startup options and select "cold reset". Then click back arrow until you see continue, select continue and then press ok. Machine will restart with all settings cleared.

 

You say you have an error code but did not note it in your post. If you have a 98.xx.xx or 99.xx.xx error then you have either a firmware error or a failed harddrive. In that case you should use the download option in the preboot menu to reinstall the firmware of the error is 98.xx.xx. If the error is 99.xx.xx then most likely your harddrive has failed and will need to be replaced.
