Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I'm getting the error "oxb8d712fe" when I start my printer and all buttons begin flashing. The printer appears to go through the initial set of diagnostics upon startup and momentarily flashes the menu with icons but goes right into this error message with flashing power button and Home, Information, Back and Wireless lights flashing.

I restarted the printer, now it's showing an "oxb8da32fe" error code!?

Thanks in advance!

@SGRoeh

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,

I understand you are receiving a"0XB" error on the printer. We can perform factory defaults on the printer to resolve the issue.

To restore the printer to the original factory defaults.

  • 1. On the printer control panel display, from the Home screen, swipe left to see (⚙️Setup) and touch (⚙️Setup).
  • 2. Touch Tools, touch Restore Factory Defaults, and then follow the onscreen instructions.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
