I get this error on my printer screen DD000D78 and it’s a blue screen with the shutdown symbol on it. I have tried to turn the printer off and on. I have also tried the unplug for 60 seconds and plug back in and nothing works. Can anyone tell me what the issue is?? Can’t find anything on this error code.
thanks

Hi @Wyoknotts
Welcome to the HP Support Community. I understand you are unable to use the printer due to an error. I'd be happy to assist you.
If you have tried resetting the printer and the issue persists, check for any jams inside the printer.
Make sure the print carriage is moving freely.
Refer to this document.
Once done,
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
- Wait at least 60 seconds.
- Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
- Turn ON the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
- Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you proceed.
Note: HP recommends connecting the printer directly to a wall outlet rather than a surge protector or a power strip.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
