HP LaserJet MFP M140we Printer

For a few weeks now I've been having an error message saying:

A problem has occurred with your HP account and you be unable to print very soon unless the issue is resolved. This could be related to your billing cycle.

I'm not subscribed to the Ink program (but am using original cartridges only), so I'm not participating in anything that would require billing information.

I've tried removing and adding my printer in the HP smart app, deregistering my printer - with an error though, as the system doesn't want to register it again. Reinstalling the HP smart doesn't help as well.

It's extremely frustrating, do you have any ideas what might help?

This is an HP+ printer and it requires a constant internet connection, not for ink but to ensure you are using only OEM cartridges which is part of the agreement when you purchase and startup the printer. If you did not register for instant ink this is not a instant ink issue.

Thank you for your reply. The printer is always connected to the Internet and I use OEM cartridges only, so I don't think the error results from these issues.
