I tried to print an the error OXB8000684 came up

I understand the error code OXB8000684 on your HP OfficeJet 8015e typically indicates a hardware issue, often related to the printhead or ink cartridges. 

Here are some steps you can try to resolve the problem:
 

Power Cycle the Printer: Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for about 60 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on.

Check Ink Cartridges:

  • Open the ink cartridge access door.
  • Remove the ink cartridges and check for any visible damage or ink leaks.
  • Reinstall the cartridges, ensuring they are properly seated.

Clean the Printhead:

  • If the error persists, clean the printhead. Refer to your printer’s manual for instructions on how to do this, as it may involve using the printer's built-in cleaning function or manually cleaning the printhead with a soft cloth.

Inspect for Paper Jams: Even though it’s not always the case, a paper jam can sometimes cause hardware errors. Check the paper path for any obstructions and remove any stuck paper.
 

Update Printer Firmware: Sometimes, updating the printer's firmware can resolve errors. You can do this via the printer's control panel or by visiting the HP support website and downloading the latest firmware for your model. Update the firmware on an HP printer
 

Reset the Printer:
