Try these steps:
Restart the Printer
Turn off the Printer:
- Press the power button to turn off the printer.
Disconnect Power:
- Unplug the power cord from the printer.
- Wait for at least 60 seconds.
Reconnect Power:
- Plug the power cord back into the printer.
- Turn on the printer by pressing the power button.
Update Printer Firmware
Check for Updates Using the HP Smart App:
- Download and open the HP Smart app on your computer or mobile device:
- Sign in or create a new HP account if needed.
- Add your printer to the app.
- Under the printer settings, check for firmware updates and follow the prompts to install any available updates.
Update Using HP Support Website:
- Visit the HP support website specific to your printer model: HP OfficeJet Pro 8025 Support
- Download the latest firmware version for your printer.
- Follow the installation instructions provided on the website.
Reconfigure the Printer Network Settings
Restore Network Settings:
- On the printer’s touchscreen control panel, go to Settings.
- Select Network Setup or Wireless Setup Wizard.
- Choose Restore Network Settings.
Reconnect to WiFi:
- Use the Wireless Setup Wizard to connect the printer to your new WiFi network.
Perform a Hard Reset
Turn off the Printer:
- Press the power button to turn off the printer.
Hard Reset:
- Unplug the printer power cord.
- Disconnect all other cables connected to the printer.
- Wait for 2 minutes.
- Reconnect the power cord and press the power button to turn on the printer.
