  • I was printing when I got a paper jam. I removed this but then all of the lights started flashing on the printer. I have tried restarting it and tried to reset the Internet though it now refuses to connect to any Internet. Please help!

Hi @Aotoole,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be happy to help you!

I understand that you are having issues with the flashing lights.

When all the lights on your HP Envy 6000  All-in-One printer are flashing, it typically indicates an error condition that needs to be addressed. Here are some steps to help you diagnose and resolve the issue:

1. Restart the Printer

Sometimes a simple restart can resolve the issue.

Power Off:

  • Turn off the printer by pressing the power button.
  • Unplug the printer from the power source.

Wait:

  • Wait for about 60 seconds.

Power On:

  • Plug the printer back in and turn it on.

2. Check for Error Messages

Look at the printer's control panel or the HP Smart app on your computer or mobile device for any error messages or codes.

Control Panel:

  • Check the printer's control panel for any specific error messages or icons.

HP Smart App:

  • Open the HP Smart app and check for any notifications or error messages related to the printer.

3. Check for Paper Jams

Paper jams can cause the printer to flash all lights.

Inspect Paper Trays:

  • Open all paper trays and remove any paper that may be jammed.

Check Inside the Printer:

  • Open the printer’s access doors and look for any jammed paper inside the printer.

Remove Jammed Paper:

  • Gently remove any jammed paper, being careful not to tear it.

4. Check Ink Cartridges

Ensure that the ink cartridges are correctly installed and have enough ink.

Open Ink Cartridge Access Door:

  • Open the door to access the ink cartridges.

Inspect Cartridges:

  • Ensure the cartridges are correctly installed and secure.
  • Check for any ink leaks or damage.

Replace Cartridges if Needed:

  • If any cartridges are low or empty, replace them with new ones.

Kindly check the next steps in the next post.

    • Wait for at least 60 seconds.
