Hi @Indrabab,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If you're experiencing difficulties installing your HP Officejet J4680 on Windows 11 and the printer is not being detected on the network, there are a few steps you can take to resolve the issue. Follow these steps to troubleshoot and install the printer:

Check Network Connection:

  • Ensure that both your printer and the computer are connected to the same network.
  • Verify that the printer is turned on and connected to the network properly.

Download the Latest Driver:

  • Visit the official HP website (https://support.hp.com) and navigate to the "Drivers & Software" section.
  • Enter your printer model (HP Officejet J4680) and select the appropriate operating system (Windows 11).
  • Download the latest driver for your printer and save it to your computer.

Install the Driver:

  • Once the driver is downloaded, run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions to install the driver on your Windows 11 system.
  • During the installation process, you may be prompted to choose the connection type. Select the network option and proceed.

Connect Printer to Network:

  • On your HP Officejet J4680, navigate to the printer's control panel and access the network settings.
  • Connect the printer to your wireless network by entering the network SSID and password.

Windows 11 Settings:

  • Open the Settings app on Windows 11.
  • Go to "Devices" and then select "Printers & scanners."
  • Click on "Add a printer or scanner" and wait for Windows to search for available printers.

Manual Installation:

  • If Windows doesn't automatically detect your printer, you can choose the option to add a printer manually.
  • Enter the IP address of your HP Officejet J4680 (you can find this in the printer's network settings) and follow the on-screen instructions.

Firewall and Security Software:

  • Temporarily disable your firewall and any security software on your computer. Sometimes, these applications can block the printer installation process.

Restart Devices:

  • Restart both your computer and the HP Officejet J4680 after completing the installation to ensure that all changes take effect.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.-
