F380
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

My F380 do not print any black text (just from once, no reason to point at), but the (original) cartridge was not empty.  I changed the ink cartridge, reinstalled the drivers, reinstalled the printers, cleaned the cartridges and downloaded and runned the support tool, visited the knowledge base and followed the steps from there. No results. Nothing works. Do you have any advise?

@Martinus_1,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

In order that I may provide you with an accurate solution, I will need a few more details.

  • When was the last time the printer was working fine?
  • Have you made any software or hardware changes on the computer?

While you respond to that, I recommend you follow the steps in the below article and check if it helps.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!

@The_Fossette

It gives me trouble for 4 weeks now. No software or hardware installantions done since that day, except a windows update. But also connected to another machine, it gives me the problem.

I already followed steps of your link, but no result.

@Martinus_1,

It is great to have you back and your patience is greatly appreciated.

If you have followed all the steps suggested in the artilce and still facing the issue, then it confirms a hardware issue.

I recommend you contact HP phone support to check the available service options for your printer.

Here is how you can get in touch with the phone support.

1)Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/

2)Select the product type.

3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.

4)Select the country from the drop-down.

5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.

Good day! Take care 🙂

Cheers!
