Operating System: macOS 10.14 Mojave

Settings are locked even though I did not lock them. How do I restore printer to factory defaults? I tried pushing the back button/arrow but it does not do anything.

This worked. Thanks very much. HP should include specific instructions in the printer documentation concerning this issue.
