Hi all,
Just received this printer. During setup i was guided to the webpage to manage the printersettings. I have changed the pasword but when i want log back in it does not take my new pasword .
I would like to do a reset. Could you please assist me?

- Did you try restoring the printer to factory defaults and check again?
- Are you able to access the printer's control panel?
For now, try these steps:
- If you are able to access the printer's control panel then from the user manual link: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05634824 restore the printer to factory settings.
- Refer to page 169 and 170 for instructions on how to do it.
- Then run the wireless setup from the printer to connect to the network.
This should fix the issue. If the issue continues, I will send you a private message with steps on how to perform a semi-full reset on the printer. It is exclusive to this printer and will work only for this model. It restores the printer to default original factory shipped state.heck your forum private message box in the upper right corner next to the bell icon.
