Product: HP Photosmart C8180 All-in-One Printer

My old, but up to now very reliable  C8180 has started to show a paper-jam fault when I try to print. There is no paperjam and the mechanism seems completely clear and clean. Any ideas how to correct this fault as otherwise the print quality is absolutely fine with multiple ink colours giving very true photo prints and I am loathe to lose it?
