I am in despair having spent the last hour and a half trawling the HP website.

I have a faulty HP 301X ink cartridge.  It hasn't been used in a few months but is almost new - printer confirms it is full of ink but can't print using it.  Have replaced with the other cartridge in the box and it works perfectly so not a printer problem.

I am in Mallorca in Spain, how do I return it to HP to get a replacement.  These things are too expensive just to ignore it.

Thanks for any help you could offer.

@globalnomad82, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

I understand your concern. Have you tried any troubleshooting steps?

Try cleaning the copper contacts on the ink cartridge. Perform the steps from this document - HP Printer Does not Print and Error Indicates Faulty Ink Cartridge

If the issue persists, please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the replacement options for the defective ink cartridge.

Keep me posted for any other assistance.
