Same here with HP OfficeJet Pro 8710. I found a workaround was to "PRINT AS IMAGE"
Its not a fix, but it worked...
I suspect it was a ChromeOS update as that is all that has changed. Printer updates are off and I've been printing fine for years (last succesful print was 6th May 2023. But now today (1/7/2023) I get "Filer Failed" error. Updates on Printer are off, so it wasnt the printer.
Other weird symtom... Printing fails immediately in the default PDF viewer, but if I print from the "Gallery" and print all pages, I get the first two only, I tried selecting the pages 3 & 4 (all I actually wanted) but it fails immediatly

Hi MikeAb67657

Thank you very much. That worked a treat. I thought I was going to have to buy a new printer. Much appreciated.

Cheers
