Hi @Nixxy500,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds frustrating to deal with those flashing error messages on your HP printer, especially when virtual support hasn't been helpful. Let's see if we can troubleshoot it together. Here are some steps you can try.

  • Restart Your Printer: Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve temporary issues. Turn off your printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for a minute or two, then plug it back in and turn it on again.
  • Check Ink Cartridges: Ensure that all ink cartridges are properly installed and securely seated in their respective slots. If any cartridge is low or empty, replace it with a new one.
  • Check Internet Connection: Ensure that your printer is connected to the internet and that the connection is stable. Instant Ink services require a stable internet connection to function properly.
  • Check Instant Ink Enrollment: Verify that your printer is indeed enrolled in the Instant Ink program. You can do this by logging into your HP Instant Ink account online and confirming the enrollment status.
  • Update Printer Firmware: Make sure your printer's firmware is up to date. Sometimes, outdated firmware can cause compatibility issues. You can usually update the firmware through the printer's settings menu or by visiting the HP support website.
  • Reset Printer: If the issue persists, try resetting your printer to its factory defaults. This will erase any customized settings, so make sure to note them down before performing the reset. The steps to reset your printer may vary depending on the model, so refer to your printer's manual for instructions.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.

I've done all that and it says I'm connected to Internet when I do the printout, but when I go on instant ink it says can't connect to printer as no WiFi connection and I am enrolled with instant ink.
