My printer has began flashing lights intermittently throughout the day so I push the power button & I can then print for a short time and then all the lights begin flashing again. I've tried updating firmware, unplugging, turning off for 1 hour/restart, etc.
I also can no longer click on update print apps from the printer screen. It either won't do anything or tells me that it can't be done. I've tried all of the HP fix doctors, downloaded firmware updates on my laptop etc. My scanner also has issues too and sometimes works and sometimes doesn't anymore. My printer is only 5 yrs old so I'm unsure what is wrong or how to fix it. Thank you & please help!

Hi @MGalecka,
I'd like to help!
I understand the printer is flashing lights.
We can perform a factory defaults on the printer to resolve the issue
- The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
- I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
- In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Support Community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/notes/privatenotespage
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
