Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Just put two new ink cartridges  HP 301s in but printer will not print because it does not reconise the colour cartridge also get the orange light flashing.Have tried turning printer on and off and turning power supply but still no joy any ideas.

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

I'm afraid, as per this document, HP DeskJet 2620 Printers do not use HP 301 ink cartridges.

 

Step 1: Make sure the ink cartridges are compatible

 

Step 2: Make sure the ink cartridges are correctly installed

Refer to step 2 from this document

Make sure the protective plastic tape with HP logos is removed.

 

Step 3: Replace/Use a compatible ink cartridge
