Say, I see I didn't read your first message, it's the User ID you want.  Is it admin (small case)?

Hello Sandy,

What program or site are you trying to log into?  The ID could be your email address?  Reply if successful (or not).

Hello again Sandy,  What model of HP Envy are you dealing with.  I see that you are trying to access the Embedded Web Server (EWS).  To get the password, you will need to reset the defaults.  I am not an expert like some of the EXPERT MODERATORS   and let's hope one picks up on your thread.  Continue to follow, please.  Here's one thread FYI:

https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/HP-Connected-Mobile-Printing-and-Cloud-Printing/Resetting-Hp-Web-Servi...     cut and paste if it doesn't work

The two pics didn't go (can't see them). (they probably aren't needed)  To send them again at the top of the Reply window look for "Photos" (see below).  Click on it and drag the pics in.  Set size (medium) and click Done.  The pic should be there and continue typing.

Hi again Sandy,

A quick thought.  The User Name may be "admin"  For the password, you may have used the serial number on the router/modem; or you could have left it blank.  Look for the modem's label.  On mine it literally is a telephone number.

I see on the pics that the item above Administrative Settings is Password Settings; can you just reset the password.

Thanks for the pics it appears you have an HP Envy 120 printer.  and yes it's the EWS password we are dealing with.  I have an HP Envy 5660 printer so I can't see your display screen controls.

This link has info on the password for the router and a way to find Wireless Network Password, which may be the same.

Hi, it worked, why don't they tell you somewhere what it is.  I didn't think to try something so simple.

Thank you very much.

Wonderful!  A thumbs up on one of my messages  would be appreciated and click Problem Solved.

All I did was google and send info.  Credit goes to EXPERT MODERATOR Sunshyn2005 in the link I provided.

Good luck and  Bye Bye.
