Formatter board replacement Update Serial Number

Hello. 

The formatter board was replaced and I need to update the serial number. I search through google and looked it up to update it via FTP with PJL file but the FTP connection to the printer is refused. Can someone please tell me whether it is the right process or there is something else that the SN can be updated?

Hope you are fine,  for this issue, please refer to the tech who made the repair to get the serial number updated on the printer or please give a call to support  link so a technical representative can assist.
