Installed new HP cartridge - and get a "Following cartridges appear to be missing or damaged : Black".
On removing the new and replace with the older - the message goes away .. Get same message when trying to replace color cartridges C or Y or M. These are genuine cartridges, older ones are recognized, the new ones are not.
- Tried powering off/ rebooting/ removing cable.: did not work
- cleaned printer head and cartridge contacts: no effect
Frustrating !!!

If you have already performed the steps from the document HP Printer Does not Print and Error Indicates Faulty Ink Cartridge and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.
Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the cartridge replacement.
