Hi @justsayno1,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you are encountering a printing issue with the HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M182nw on a 4G network. Since this printer is not compatible with 5G networks, you had previously used the 4G network successfully but now cannot print despite being on the same network.
Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:
Confirm the Network Connection:
- Ensure your printer and PC are connected to the same 4G network. Sometimes devices might be on different networks, especially with multiple routers or access points.
- Check if the printer is still connected to the 4G network by printing a Network Configuration Page from the printer's control panel (navigate to Settings > Network to print this page).
Restart Devices:
- Restart both the printer and your computer to clear any temporary network or printing issues.
- Reboot your router as well, especially if it manages your 4G connection.
Check Printer's IP Address:
- Confirm the printer’s IP address has not changed. Go to Settings > Network > Wireless Settings on the printer's control panel to check this. If it has changed, update the printer settings on your computer (via the HP Smart app or Control Panel > Devices and Printers).
Update Printer Drivers:
- Make sure you are using the latest drivers for your printer on Windows 11. You can download them from the official HP website or use the HP Smart app to check for updates.
Re-add Printer:
- Remove the printer from your list of devices in Windows (Control Panel > Devices and Printers), then re-add it using either the IP address or the HP Smart app.
Firewall/Security Software:
- Check your firewall or antivirus software settings. Some security software can block network communication, including printing over a 4G connection. You may need to allow communication with your printer in your firewall settings.
Use a USB Connection (Temporary):
- As a temporary solution, you could connect the printer directly to your computer via USB if it's not working over the network. This will help determine if the issue is related to the network or the printer itself.

I hope this helps.
