I have a HP Colour Laser 150nw that's less than a year old, I composed a letter yesterday, and when I printed it, there was a double/ghost image of my letter reappearing in the bottom third of the A4 sheet and two faint borders either side of my letter. I removed the toner cartridges, the waste toner collector, the imaging drum, which had no marks on it whatsoever. I reassembled the machine, and reprinted my letter with the same result. On checking the total number of impressions/pages printed, it was 67. I am at a loss to understand why this has happened. My warranty expires on 30 December. I also tried "Find and Fix" without success.

Just out of interest, I have checked the cost of replacing the toner cartridges, and the imaging drum. The total cost of this endeavour in the UK would be £279. It's cheaper to buy a new machine!

Is it only one repeat of the defect and can you measure and post the distance between the defects in millimeters? If the device is under a year old, you should still be under HP warranty but you are going to want to open a support case ASAP to avoid the "the warranty is expired" situation.
