On HP 5821 printer , I want to set the gutter margin ( margin for binding into a book) ; can’t find the setting . I wish to take a  number of photo prints of A4 size and bind them. How to set the binding margin ? Thanks

i don't use PhotoShop, so I can't comment on the features offered by that application.

Not all applications provide a means of settings gutter margins (or any margins in some cases); for example:

  • With Word, you can define standard (top/bottom/left/right) margins, and also gutter settings.
  • With NotePad, you can define standard margins, but not gutter settings.

I'm still (fairly) certain that margins are not defined via settings in the printer or printer driver.

Margin settings (of any type) are usually set within the application via which you have opened/edited the source document.

They are not set on the printer, or within printer driver settings.

Thanks for the response. But I am still not clear.  I am editing photos using Photoshop ; i do not see any page setup for margin / gutter margin setting in photoshop. Please clarify.
