Hello judy-m2 ,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

Seems that an entry of the spooler is defective.
- click on START - Programs - Accessories
- right-click "Command Prompt" and select "Run as Administrator"
- type the following commands in a line one after the other and confirm with ENTER afterwards:
sc config spooler depend= RPCSS {Enter}
[The space between "=" and RPCSS is mandatory].
exit {Enter}
- now perform a reboot
Is it working again now?
