Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

So I decided to try a compatible 78A toner cartridge which was verified to work by the vendor.  HP settings page says non HP cartridge or toner and will not  print.  I get the "attention needed" message but no details as to what the problem is.  I also ran the HP Print & Scan Doctor. Again no results.  What gives?

I see that you are facing issues with your HP LaserJet Pro P1606dn Printer wherein it gives "attention needed" error message and does not print.

 

Please follow the steps listed in the this HP document for attention light blinking from this link
