Product: HP DeskJet 2742e All-in-One Printer
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

When I print a document it cuts off the bottom.  Customer support said this printer doesn't support borderless printing, meaning that it will not print the whole  page.  I have never heard of this.  Is there something anyone has done to correct this?

That is correct, the printer's bottom margin is 12,7 mm everything under that margin can't be printed. It is impossible for that printer model to print the last 12,7mm on the bottom.
If you want to print from edge to edge you need to get a borderless printer.
