My HP 3755 keeps going dark. By that I mean that whenever I try to print from my tablet, Samsung Tab S5e, invariably it cannot find the printer. The fix is easy, I unplug it, wait for 30 seconds, plug it back in and it finds the network. Every time this happens though I notice the little screen on the printer is blank so it appears to me that it falls asleep and cannot except a print request from my tablet. Because I'm on the instant ink program, my printer sits in the DMZ so I'm not sure if this is part of the problem or not. I've looked in the settings and there's nothing to keep the printer from going to sleep nor is there anything that says it will go to sleep. I know this is a problem with this particular model because I recommended this printer to two other people and they have the same problem with it. I'm not impressed because I thought this was a good printer and I recommended it to a couple of my friends and now they're not impressed that it does this all the time. By the way I use Android 9 but the other two printers are on Windows 10. Does ANYBODY have an idea as to what the problem could be?

@StanM53, Welcome to HP Support Community!
Follow the steps below-
Update the printer firmware
Download available firmware updates from the HP website
With the printer on and connected to the computer, go to HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads, and then identify your printer. Look for and install any available firmware updates. Refer to the document HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware
Assign manual IP to the printer
The steps on how to set a manual IP address can be found here.
For the DNS servers please use 8.8.8.8 for the Manual Preferred DNS Server and 8.8.4.4 for the Alternate DNS server. These are Google’s public DNS servers
Try printing.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Already did the update. LYP1FN2020BR dated 2020-05-16
Will making the IP address static, effect Instant Ink when they poll my printer?
Is there a way to keep the small screen on the printer always on because I'm sure that's the problem. Today I tried to print after resetting it yesterday and because the screen was off it did not know I was trying to send a print job to it.
Even when I lose the network connection I still see the printer as a direct printer but it still won't print to it.
Should I be using Samsung Print Service instead of the HP print service?
Thanks.

Thanks for replying!
Assigning manual IP does not affect Instant Ink services and this looks like a sleep mode issue, so assign manual IP and monitor the printer.
Keep me posted.
