HP Recommended

Our company has about 50 HP laser Jet pro 400 and they work amazingly fast. however, do to it being discontinued and in search of looking for faster options, we purchased about 20 HP laserJet 4001s. 

 

The problem with 4001's is that when printing, its queues won't get released. 

with 400's, queues disappear as soon as the printer starts printing but with 4001's queues are usually there until the job is finished. also, sometimes it'll won't disappear even after the print job is finished and it'll hold up other print jobs that are in the queue. we tried changing the drivers and looked at the settings to compare them couldn't find any answers.

all firmware are up to date. 

 

any ideas on what could be the issue?
