My printer control panel is showing a solid pinkish purple. The printer still prints ok but I cannot access any functions. The question mark is illuminated on the side of the screen. Any ideas??

Welcome to HP Forums, I see that you are getting the issue on the printer control panel.
Are you getting any error message on the display?
Is the printer connected direly to the wall outlet?
Meanwhile:
Perform a power reset
- Turn on the printer, if it is not already on.
- Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
- Wait at least 30 seconds.
- Plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet without any surge protector and printer.
- Turn on the printer.
Update the printer firmware
