Cannot Scan to Email from within control panel locally on printer.
Scan to email will work correctly from Image Capture in OS X but not in Easy Scan App.
Is this a known issue with Sierra?

Hello, @t3m0 – Hope you are well 🙂
Thank you for becoming an HP Forum member. It is a great location to get help from the community, get suggestions and find what has worked for others.
I understand you are having issues while performing “Scan to email” from the printer. You need to install the MAC 10.12 full feature printer drivers to have this feature.
I found that the HP Officejet 4650 full feature driver for MAC 10.12 is now available in HP. Try the steps below to fix the issue:
- Uninstall the old printer drivers first. Follow the steps mentioned here: http://hp.care/2cKwLyC
- Now run the Apple Software Update. Check here for steps: http://hp.care/2cNgw3C
- Restart your computer and printer.
- Now go to http://hp.care/2cyJALr to install the HP Easy start which will download and install the new printer drivers for MAC 10.12.
- In the “Add printer” window, make sure you add the printer as mentioned below:
- Click the “Add button” (+).
- Find, and then select the name of your printer from the printer list, and then click “Add” to add your printer.
- Click “Print Using...”, and then select the name of your printer (By default “Airprint” would be selected)
- Restart the printer and computer and check.
Let me know if that helps!
Cheers 🙂
