I have had no problems with this printer in the couple of years I've had it, until now!

Every time I try to print something, the paper jams just after starting to print. I'm able to open up the printer and remove the paper and fix the jam, but then it just happens again. It seems like the paper is getting caught on something so it can't move through the printer.

Any advice for fixing this problem?

Hi @layamalka,

I'd like to help!

Try the below suggestions-

Step 1: Clear any jammed paper from the printer

There are three different areas where paper might become jammed. Clear any jammed paper from one area, and then try to print again. If the error persists, check the next area for any jammed paper.

  • Clear any jammed paper from the output tray
  • Clear any jammed paper from the input tray
  • Clear any jammed paper from the paper path and ink cartridge access area

Step 2: Make sure the carriage can move freely

Step 3: Use automated tools to clean page smears

Step 4: Manually clean the paper feed rollers

Step 5: Reset the printer

For instructions, refer to - 'Paper Jam' Error

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
