I replaced the printhead and now I get a message that the carriage will not move. Any help?

@Johnny4444, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

The printhead on this model printer is not a customer removable part. Check if the printhead is seated correctly.

 

Are you able to move the carriage manually?

Perform the steps mentioned in this document - 'Carriage Jam' or 'E3' Error Displays

Also, check for any jams/obstructions inside the printer as shown in this document - Paper Jam Error

 

If the issue persists, please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer. 

 

If the printer is out of warranty, I suggest you upgrade the printer. You may visit Hp Store to check the available printers.
