I have a wireless printer - HP Officejet 6700 Premium. Works fine.
However, It always shows up as a Wifi Access Point in Wireless Networks. Why is this? How can you disable this?

A warm welcome to HP Forums! This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips to your technical queries.
Normally this happens when Wireless Direct is enabled on the printer. HP wireless direct feature allows your Wi-Fi capable devices to make a wireless network connection directly to your printer without using a wireless router or access point. Disabling Wireless Direct on the printer should resolve the issue, you may use the steps below to disable Wireless Direct on the printer:
1.) Touch the right arrow to display the second navigation screen.
2.) Touch Setup , and then touch Network.
3.) Touch Wireless Direct and set it to Off.
Let me know how it goes!
