HP Recommended

Yet another situation where HP is going to be paying out millions if they don't fix this issue. I am a trial attorney.. I love to sue, and seeing that HP has multiple class actions, both settled and new for this issue, you would think they would do something about this. My HP officejet 6978 is blocking use of 3rd party ink cartridges because they don't have an HP approved chip. I called the service line and they tried to reset the firmware but couldn't. They offered a discount on new HP ink, but I am not wasting my current ink to spend money on new ink. If HP doesn't have an appropriate fix to this, I will be ensuring that their legal department is both aware and spending a lot more money on my issues than they want to. I bill at $600 an hour, and this issue is already looking to be in the thousands for my time today. FIX this issue HP. I expect response.
