Thanks for the reply to try and help.  One would think that there is not a lot of difference between 12.99x18.98 inch paper and 13x19 paper. and, infact there is not.  The printed copy for all intents is the same as my previously mentioned work-around.  TOO much right margin, CUT-OFF left margin and ok top and bottom.

 

The 7110 is certainly capable of registering and printing 12x18 as printer connected to a MAC can accomplish this.  It would seem an update from HP would be the proper and final fix for Windows systems as well.

Did you ever find a better solution to this?  I recently purchased this printer and am suprised and annoyed that 12 x 18 is not an option, nor can I create a custom sheet 12 x 18.  Tried all these "solutions" but have had all the same results.  Works fine if all I want are greyscale prints, but obviously I want color.  Sadly this was to replace my 9800 that used to work just fine, but finally died.
