HP OfficeJet Pro 7740 Wide Format All-in-One Printer

Hello. My HP 7440 will no longer copy or print.  The screen is stuck on "Printing..." or "Copying..."  I've tried a hard and factory reset and still the same issues.  It will, however, scan to the computer.

I see that you are facing issues with your HP OfficeJet Pro 7740 Wide Format All-In-One Printer wherein it is stuck on printing or copying.

  

Please download and install the firmware update by following the steps from this document.  (Click on the word document to open the web page).

Yes. I tried, but it confirmed my firmware is up to date.  Very disappointing.   If I can’t find a solution and have to buy another printer, rest assured this will be my last HP.   These “updates” have never benefited me…always breaking or limiting something.  No way a printer this new should just stop working electronically. This is not a physical issue, this is a software issue.
