HP 7520 all-in-one leaked ink into bottom right of printer.  Printer fails alignment and won't print correctly.  I notice this has happen to others on this forum.  What are the options?

Where is the "leaking" ink?  If it is in the printer service station area (on the right side of the printer) this is normal - that is where ink is "spit" to keep the nozzles clear.  While it may appear to be black ink it is actually a mixture of black and photo ink.  It is not necessary (or desirable) to clean this area.  If the ink is leaking out onto the desktop that would be a different matter - that would not be normal, and would indicate a failure.

The troubleshooting steps in the document here may help resolve black not printing properly on your Photosmart 7520.  Go through all the steps in order.
