Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I'm trying to print on 11 x 17 80# card stock from a CAD program (Draftsight). Normal tabloid printer paper works just fine, but with the card stock the feed uptake is slow and the bottom few inches of the sheet doesn't print, even though the upper portion prints in the same position as on the regular printer paper.

Following up on my own question. I found that loading a single sheet of card stock into the tray and pushing on the sheet to help it feed solved the problem. Either a single-sheet feed option or redesigning the sheet feed to handle slightly heavier paper might be a good product improvement.

According to the specs https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-officejet-pro-7740-wide-format-all-in-one-printer-series/768...

Your paper is almost 2x heavier than supported by this printer and as you have discovered that is why you are having issues and by effectively force feeding you are able to get a single sheet to print. Unfortunately if you are going to print a lot of that type of paper you have the wrong machine.
