@Jojo235,

Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

Check the Wireless Connection

  • Recheck Network Settings: Ensure that your printer is connected to the correct Wi-Fi network. Sometimes, after a router reset, the printer may not automatically reconnect to the new Wi-Fi network.
  • Re-enter Wi-Fi Settings:
    • On the printer's control panel, go to the Wi-Fi settings and reconnect the printer to your Wi-Fi network.
    • You can also use the printer’s Wireless Setup Wizard from the settings menu to select your network and re-enter your Wi-Fi password.

Restart the Printer

  • Unplug the printer, wait for 30 seconds, and then plug it back in. This will reset any temporary glitches that might be causing the issue.

Check the Router and Network

  • Signal Strength: Ensure your router is functioning well and provides a strong signal to the printer. If the printer is too far from the router, it might struggle to connect.
  • Frequency Band: If your router supports both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, try switching the printer to connect to the 2.4 GHz band, as it generally offers better range.
  • Router Settings: Check if the router has any restrictions, like MAC address filtering, which could prevent your printer from connecting.

Reset the Network Settings on Printer

  • If the above steps don’t work, you can reset the network settings on your printer:
    • On the printer's control panel, go to Settings > Network Setup > Restore Network Settings.
    • This will reset your printer’s network settings and allow you to reconfigure them.

Update Printer Firmware

  • Ensure that your printer’s firmware is up to date. If the printer is unable to connect properly, it might be due to outdated firmware. You can update it by connecting to your printer via the HP Smart app or HP website on your computer.

Printer Software and Driver

  • Ensure that the drivers and software are correctly installed on your computer. If you're using a Windows PC, you can go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers, right-click your printer, and see if it shows as "Offline" or "Not Connected." If so, try to remove and reinstall the printer.

Printer Error Codes

  • If the blue light continues to blink, check the printer display for any error codes or messages that could give you more specific information about the issue.

Check for Printer Queue Issues

  • If the printer is showing offline on your computer, check the printer queue to make sure there are no stuck print jobs that could be causing the issue.

I hope these steps help resolve the issue

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.
