I ran out of yellow ink. After the new cartridge was installed, it printed a test page, an alignment page, and two documents. Then an error message appeared: printhead is missing , not detected, or improperly installed. Crazy right? Cleaning the print head did not correct the problem. Resets with power cords do nothing too. I downloaded the 6810 software update and installed it. No luck. Quite dismayed. If a solution is not possible, this may be my last HP printer.
