HP-8625 Printer: Is it incompatible with Spectrum 5G Routers?
My new Lenovo Laptop will NOT connect to a Spectrum 5G Router for wireless. Do I have to only use the 2G? I wanted to take advantage of the fastest speed if I can for browsing etc. My 9 year old Toshiba Laptop (now my wife's) still connects perfectly with 2G. Per the ScanDoctor, I was led to change the name of the Router on the LED menu on the front of the printer--from the name of MySpectrumWiFi90-5G from the MySpectrumWiFi90-2G, but it will still NOT connect. Tried connecting a USB cable to and was able to print from the USB Cable from the Lenovo, however, MY office is the "wireless" office and my old computer's is my wife's and that has the cable. And of course the HP 8625 is now a 5-6 year old machine which has been a good machine--I haven't messed with anything other than HP cartridges either. SO, need some love from the HP folks! HELP me get wireless with my Lenovo 2 in 1 IdeaPad Flex Model Name 81XH. This is my first post ever on HP at age 61, so be kind! 😉 Thanks!

@CourageouS1, Welcome to HP Support Community!
I see that you're trying to connect the printer to the 5GHz network, but the printer only supports the 2.4GHz network. Both the printer and the computer should be connected to the same network to be able to communicate with each other and print.
Refer to the document Connect to a Wireless HP Printer for help with the wireless setup on the computer.
