Hi @Lizurds,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand the cartridges in your HP OfficeJet Pro 9015 are stuck and causing an issue. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you resolve this problem:

Steps to Fix Stuck Cartridges

Turn Off the Printer:

  • Power off the printer using the power button. Unplug it from the wall to ensure it's completely powered down.

Open the Printer:

  • Open the printer’s top cover or access door where the cartridges are located. This is usually where you can access the printhead and cartridges.

Manually Move the Carriage:

  • Gently try to move the carriage (the part that holds the cartridges) to the center of the printer. It should move freely, but if it’s stuck, don’t force it.

Check the Cartridges:

  • Inspect the cartridges to ensure they are properly seated. If any are popped out, carefully reinsert them into their slots.

Check for Obstructions:

  • Look inside the printer for any paper jams, debris, or obstructions that might be preventing the carriage from moving. Remove any visible obstructions.

Reset the Cartridges:

  • If the cartridges are not seated correctly, remove each cartridge and then reinsert them firmly. Ensure they click into place.

Power On and Test:

  • Plug the printer back in and power it on. The printer should perform a self-test and attempt to align the cartridges. Check if the issue is resolved.

Clean the Cartridges and Printhead:

  • If the problem persists, the cartridges or printhead might be dirty. Use a clean, lint-free cloth to gently clean the cartridges and printhead. Be sure to follow the HP instructions for cleaning.

Additional Tips

  • Manual Handling: Be careful when handling the cartridges and carriage to avoid damaging any components.
  • Consult the Manual: Refer to the user manual for specific instructions related to cartridge issues for your printer model.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
