Hi @DSAT1,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP 9015e printer is stuck on the "validating ... please wait" message, it can be frustrating, but there are several steps you can try to resolve the issue.
Power Cycle the Printer:
- Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
- Wait for about 30 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on.
- Allow the printer to start up completely and see if the issue is resolved.
Check for Firmware Updates:
- Outdated firmware can sometimes cause issues like this. Visit the HP support website and check if there are any firmware updates available for your HP 9015e printer. If there are updates, follow the instructions to install them.
Reset the Printer:
- You can try performing a partial or semi-full reset on your HP printer. This process varies depending on the model, so consult your printer's manual or HP's support website for specific instructions on how to perform a reset.
Network Troubleshooting:
- Sometimes network issues can cause problems with the printer's communication. Ensure that the printer is connected to the correct Wi-Fi network and that the network is stable. You may want to power cycle your router as well.
Check for Paper Jams:
- Even if the printer doesn't show an error message related to paper jams, it's worth checking the printer for any paper jams or obstructions that might be causing the issue.
Update Printer Drivers:
- Ensure that you have the latest printer drivers installed on your computer. Outdated or incompatible drivers can sometimes cause communication problems with the printer.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
